Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the official Delta Player application, website and update service.
1. Delta is free of charge
Delta Player is provided completely free of charge and is intended to remain free of charge.
The official application has no purchase price, subscription fee, activation fee, recurring fee or paid licence. No third party is authorised to sell Delta Player, sell activation codes for it or charge users for access to the official application.
Optional internet access, device costs and third-party services selected independently by the user are not supplied or charged by Delta.
2. Media player only
Delta is an independent media player. Delta does not provide, sell, host or distribute channels, subscriptions, playlists, account credentials, movies, series or other media content.
Users must configure their own lawful media source and are solely responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right and contractual authorisation to access and play any configured service or content.
Compatibility with a portal, API or playlist format does not imply affiliation, certification, sponsorship or endorsement by its operator.
3. Licence to use the application
The official Delta APK is proprietary software. Subject to these terms, the user receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the application on compatible devices.
Except where mandatory law permits otherwise, users may not present a modified APK as an official Delta release, remove authenticity indicators, bypass update-integrity controls, sell the application, sell access to it or use Delta branding to mislead others about the origin of a build.
Mandatory statutory rights to interoperability, security research or reverse engineering remain unaffected where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. User responsibilities
- Use only sources and credentials the user is legally authorised to use.
- Do not use Delta to infringe copyright, access controls, contractual restrictions or applicable law.
- Protect provider credentials and device access from unauthorised persons.
- Install updates only from yourdelta.link or links published by the official Telegram channel.
- Do not redistribute modified builds as official Delta releases.
5. Updates and authenticity checks
Delta may check for updates and verify HTTPS origin, APK SHA-256, package identity, version and Android signing certificate before installation. Modified, damaged, incorrectly signed or unofficial APK files may be rejected.
Users should normally install a new APK over the existing installation. Uninstalling the previous application may delete locally stored settings, provider profiles, favourites, watched history and other local data.
6. Availability and compatibility
Delta is provided without a paid service-level commitment. Device firmware, Android versions, network conditions and third-party provider changes can affect compatibility. Specific external services, metadata sources, subtitle sources or portals may change or stop working without notice.
Features, supported versions and infrastructure may be updated, replaced or discontinued for technical, security, legal or operational reasons.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For slight negligence, liability applies only where an essential contractual duty is breached and is limited to damage that was typical and reasonably foreseeable when the service was used. Delta is not responsible for content, availability, billing, legality, security or performance of independent third-party providers selected by the user.
8. Suspension and termination
The provider may restrict access to the official update or cloud infrastructure when necessary to prevent abuse, protect security, comply with law or maintain service stability. The user may stop using Delta at any time by uninstalling the application; this may remove local application data.
9. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the user's country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
10. Contact and changes
Legal questions may be sent to legal@yourdelta.link. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a revised date.
